Something You Can Do Right Now: Be the Brave or Back the Brave

‘Be the Brave or Back the Brave'

We’ve launched this as a directory of all the young people being brave and trying to change the status quo of politics and assist in connecting them with a community of people that are available and willing to donate as little or as much of their time to help them with what they need. We developed this in response to the conversation at our Campaign Launch on Fri 7 Aug.

If there is something you are passionate about changing in society, there is no better place to start than politics. But running for political positions is not easy, especially as a young person. We are under represented, under funded, and under supported. Despite this, if you have decided to run - we celebrate your bravery. But we also believe as much as we need young people to Be the Brave, and to run for political positions, we need a community of people to support them, to guide them, to cheer them on - to back them.

Planning to run?

Put your name down in our ‘Be the Brave’ directory so that those who want to support you can learn about you and get behind you!

Want to support someone who’s running?

Put your name down in our ‘Back the Brave’ directory so that those who want to support you can learn about you and get behind you!

How can I get on the directory?

To add your name as either someone who is planning to run, or hoping to support those that are complete this form: https://bit.ly/2CeVE5m

Your details will then be added to this live directory where you can access a list of young people running for local council, and a list of people willing to help you with your election campaign.
